Dr. Sadananda Nayak is a highly respected scholar and teacher. He is passionate about his research and is committed to teaching his students about the history of India. He is a valuable asset to Berhampur University and to the field of history.
He was born on June 2, 1973 in Kandhamal, Odisha, India.
He did his B.A. in History with Honors from Adivasi College, Balliguda, Odisha in 1995.
He did his M.A. in History with specialization in Medieval Indian History from Khallikote Autonomous College, Berhampur, Odisha in 1997.
He did his Ph.D. in Modern Indian History from Berhampur University, Odisha in 2009. His dissertation was on the topic of “Evolution of Church Culture in South Odisha."
He has been teaching at Berhampur University since 2016.
He is a member of the Indian History Congress and the Indian Economic History Association.
He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals & UGC-CARE Listed Journals and has presented papers at national and international conferences.
